Made from heavy clear pressed glass, this elegant dish features a striking geometric design on the bottom with concentric rings, raised circular accents and a sparkling center point. The sides are deeply fluted, while the coordinating domed lid has dramatic radiating ribs, scalloped edges and a faceted glass finial.
This piece is Anchor Hocking catalog number #1092, shown in the company’s 1952–1953 dealer catalog. It is frequently marketed as the Old Cafe pattern, although collector references identify #1092 as a separate candy-dish design.
